Woodcuts, each 9″x27″, litho ink on Kozo paper, 1986-1987
The woodcut series began in 1986 in Berkeley. They draw upon my continuing interest in landscape, sea imagery, and Japanese prints. They have in them some of the vocabulary of shapes that has continued in my paintings.
